Beth Cannon

Beth started playing guitar at the age of 12 out of admiration for guitarists like Jimmy Page, Guthrie Govan, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. She has been teaching guitar for over 9 years and taught students of all ages and skill levels in numerous genres, including rock, funk, jazz, blues, songwriting, contemporary, fingerstyle, country, and her personal favorite, neoclassical. She details her guitar lessons to help her students reach their goals and break new grounds of guitar technique and concepts. Beth also teaches Voice (jazz, rock, metal, pop), bass guitar, ukulele, and songwriting. She is very eager to help her students learn and grow as musicians!

Beth has taken numerous classes at Berklee College of Music and has a degree in Marketing and Arts Management from George Mason University.

Beth currently fronts and writes for the DC/Nashville hard rock band Elizabeth II and gigs often with her group and with others! She has received praise from world-renowned instrumentalists, such as Slash (Guns n’ Roses), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) and professional vocalists William DuVall (Alice in Chains) and Joe Duplantier (Gojira).

Beth teaches Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays via Zoom or Skype.
