Jump into the groove at 7DrumCity Drum Camp!

​Be a part of the very first 7DC Drum Camp! Campers will build their skills through hands-on instruction, collaborative playing, and guided practice led by professional drummers from the DMV music scene. Students will explore everything from fundamental technique and drum kit coordination to gear knowledge, percussion styles, and performance skills. Each day is designed to help drummers grow both technically and musically.

Students are grouped by skill level to ensure everyone is challenged and supported. In small groups, campers will develop confidence behind the kit while learning how to listen, lock in, and play with other musicians. 

The week concludes with a live performance at our in-house venue, The Pocket, where campers present what they’ve learned through group performances, percussion ensembles, and collaborative drumming pieces.

• Auxiliary percussion and rhythm exploration
