Group Drum Pads with John is BACK! This class is designed to bring beginner/intermediate drummers together for an inspiring start to their week. Students will build confidence, get in solid practice time, and boost their progress week after week.

Meet Your InstructorJohn Heinze teaches at 7DrumCity three days a week and brings a ton of heart to every lesson. He’s a great listener and a laid-back, patient instructor with great energy. With a deep well of teaching materials, exercises, and beats, John can craft lessons that meet any drummer where they are… from total beginners to seasoned players looking to level up.
A lifelong student of the craft, John holds a joint music degree from Parkland College and Northeastern Illinois University and is constantly sharpening his own skills. Outside the classroom, he plays in several DC bands, including funk/soul powerhouse Everyday Everybody and punk outfit Trashboat and the Ambush, and leads the jam nights at Bossa Bistro + Lounge. |
