Hailing from the DMV, Massimo specializes in bass performance and audio production. His current lineup includes Cinema Hearts, Dinosaurus, and providing live support for local artists Devonly, and David Stevenson. Massimo has graced popular DMV stages such as The Atlantis, two solo out shows at Songbyrd, Union Stage, and Comet Ping Pong. With Cinema Hearts, he has toured locally and internationally, playing at SXSW 2024 in Austin, Texas, and Sled Island Fest 2023 in Alberta, Canada.
Massimo holds a BM in Music Technology from George Mason University, where he studied under Prof. Regan Brough of the U.S. Army Blues Band and Dr. Darden Purcell, refining his skills in bass and voice respectively. Beyond his studies, he was active in teaching privately and operating his own on-location recording business.
Inspired by his college journey, Massimo's teaching approach centers on infusing theory and musicianship through the lens of students' musical interests. He's a firm believer in music as a living and breathing community, where collaboration and connection is what drives everyone to continue performing and enjoying the art they love.
