Rachel Raziel is a proud grad of DC’S Duke Ellington High for the Arts and Boston’s Berklee College of Music, with a dual degree in Commercial Arranging and Vocal Performance, which included extensive piano studies.
After a decade of achievements in the Dance/Club music genre, garnering 5 Billboard charting singles, as cowriter and lead vocalist, Rachel returned to her Jazz roots, performing with trios and quartets in several known DC venues including private events at The Press Club and a year long residency at The Black Fox. Throughout that time, she’s built a thriving teaching practice for piano, voice, music theory, and songwriting for adults and children. She’s developed a very clear and concise curriculum for both piano and voice students, while also making sure to tailor lessons around individual goals and interests.
