Intermediate/Advanced Vocal Performance is an accelerated workshop focused on advanced vocal mechanics, complex harmonies, and in-depth performance coaching. This high-level, deep-dive course is designed for singers who are ready to challenge their technique, elevate their performance skills, and connect their personal musical influences to their performance style. With extended 90-minute sessions, this class offers more focused singing time and individualized attention in a supportive, high energy environment.

​What You'll Learn:

• Advanced Mechanics: Master "mask" resonance for optimal projection and dive into more complex diaphragm-focused expansion.
  
  
• Harmony & Ear Training: Move beyond the basics with 3rd and 5th harmony practice and chromatic scale ear training.
  
  
• Performance Technique: We will focus on the "stage" side of singing - microphone etiquette, artistic interpretation, and building a commanding stage presence.

Meet Your Instructor

Robert Battle is a DC-based musician, educator, and community builder. As Manager of Music & Performing Arts for DC Public Schools and host of The Pocket Open Mic, he brings deep experience in teaching, performing, and curating spaces where people can grow through music.

At 7DrumCity, Robert leads group classes that blend rhythm, creativity, and collaboration, helping students build confidence while having fun.
