Musicians: Meet fellow hobbyists & play a show!
Proudly hosted by 7DrumCity, Flashband® has had a huge impact on the music scene in DC, especially for the 7DC community! Flashband puts on 6-8 themed showcases a year at killer venues all around DC. For each new show, local hobbyist musicians can sign up for a spot to participate in the Meet & Greet Jam, form a one-time band, and perform in the showcase 1-month later. Since its birth in 2012, over 75 showcases have been hosted featuring over 3K performers, turning into many of your fave local bands who emerged from the Flashband® community! 7DrumCity acquired Flashband® in May 2017 and proudly carrying the torch and continuing the tradition ever since. (Also, we are legally required to put this annoying ® symbol after any instance of Flashband® because Flashband® is a registered trademark... At least nobody can stop us now!!)
