On 4/25, Flashband is back at Songbyrd with “That 70s Showcase!” Get ready to get down and groove with covers of the very best of the 70s – from disco, funk, psychedelic rock, punk, new wave, prog rock, and so much more. Musicians: Meet fellow hobbyists & play a rock show!​

Proudly hosted by 7DrumCity, Flashband® has had a huge impact on the DMV music scene and the 7DC community! Flashband® puts on 7-8 themed showcases a year at killer venues all around DC. For each new show, local hobbyist musicians sign up for a spot in the Meet & Greet Jam, form a one-time band, and perform in a one-time showcase 1-month later. Since its birth in 2012, over 80 showcases have been hosted featuring over 3K musicians, with many groups emerging from Flashband® to become your new favorite local bands! 7DrumCity acquired Flashband® in May 2017 and proudly carrying the torch and continuing the tradition ever since.
