Guitar Hero Flashband
Flashband is back at Black Cat! On 10/17, eight all-new Flashbands will be bringing the heat with covers from the ultimate rock nostalgia playlist! From Jimi to Ozzy, Tenacious D to Metallica, Blondie to Pat Benetar, Guns n’ Roses to RHCP, and so many more – we’re reliving the glory days of those basement house parties that gave us all our first taste of stardom. So get ready to channel the greats for a night full of smooth licks and face-melting riffs. It's the Guitar Hero Songbook in full rock band glory!

Musicians: Meet fellow hobbyists & play a rock show!​

Proudly hosted by 7DrumCity, Flashband® has had a huge impact on the DMV music scene and the 7DC community! Flashband® puts on 7-8 themed showcases a year at killer venues all around DC. For each new show, local hobbyist musicians sign up for a spot in the Meet & Greet Jam, form a one-time band, and perform in a one-time showcase 1-month later. Since its birth in 2012, over 80 showcases have been hosted featuring over 3K musicians, with many groups emerging from Flashband® to become your new favorite local bands! 7DrumCity acquired Flashband® in May 2017 and proudly carrying the torch and continuing the tradition ever since.
