Drum set sheet music is a bit harder to find than guitar tabs, so we've been just making our own transcriptions through the years to help our students. All tabs are free to share and download since we wrote them ourselves - just click on the song link. 

These are designed to be used in lessons and for ease of reading and understanding so you can have fun playing the song as easily as possible.

How to Read Drum Music

Quick refresher on how to read drum music

Terminology Mystery Revealed:

Drum "tabs" (from "tablature") refer to this kind of notation, with the dashes and x's and o's. This is like a free shortcut way of writing beats without any software. However, "tab" IS a nice nickname for "transcription"... 

Drum Tab

Drum "transcriptions" use actual notes and traditional musical notation. Each line on the staff delineates a different drum or cymbal.

Drum Transcription

Drum "charts" can also mean transcriptions, but often refer to an abbreviated transcription that a session drummer might use to remember the structure and important pieces of an arrangement.
